Oddly enough its Carlson in his era who started to incoporate boxing and wrestling, yet he was the rebel of the family. The other half was already doing begining forms of mma. He'd be out partying, banging girls left and right and was considered a famous respected person.(a playboy) There were alot of family diffrences, there was one part of the family that didn't want to evolve as far as learning other arts. Helio actually didn't get along with him because of his lack of discipline and all around attitude. Carlson Gracie was the big star in the 50's and 60's and he definetly has a lot of shady behaviour. Brazil is a very corrupt country and in the 70's even became a military controlled country. Well like I said it would be a complicated story and i'm sure they could go many diffrent directions with a film. Hey I recommend "Carlos Gracie: The Creator of a Dynasty," look it up, it was written by Carlos Gracie's daughter, real inside look at the family. Its a long one and Brazil was going through hard times in the Gracie family's height of there fame, I guess its hard to find the diffrence in right in wrong in the state Brazil has been in. You all know both legendary fighters, what's your opinion For me, Bruce Lee would win with a lightining-fast kick while Hlio would be reaching for his legs. Well i'm basically rabbling, but I guess its not for me to organize how the Gracie story should be told.
